Scrolling Crash

I am using a normal mouse with the roll ball in the middle of left and right ears when playing TS4. The issue that I am having is that the game will crash while I am using the roll ball to swing the camera around. This actually started earlier in the day, but had to go to work before I could get the issue figured out. Just now tried twice starting the game, getting into Build Mode and swung the camera a little bit...crash.
