I have played the Sims since sims 1, and have enjoyed it a lot, it has helped me through very hard times in my life, because for just that little bit of time while i played the game, I didn't think about the saddness, it let me relax for just a little, take a breath then go on. So for me the sims games are a sort of therapy, so after reading all the pros and cons and yes i do have to agree with you folks on both counts I wanted to see for myself, the game is now installing i bought the 59 dollar one and will get back to you with what I think.
