Problem with the new update

I updated my game this morning, and when I change the walls to walls up the sound is the way it is when your outside the house hearing whats going on inside. I am inside the house though, but it's very muffled. I'm right infront of the sims who are talking inside, and it sounds like I'm outside.

Anyone else have this problem? it's very annoying.
It seems this patch messed that up. It was working fine before I updated.

Sounds in other rooms or inside whe you are out or, out when you are in are SUPPOSED to be muffled. That's how it is in our world too.

I am in the same room as the sim or sims who are talking. I'm right there infront of them, can't get any closer or else they fade, they aren't supposed to be muffled. That doesn't make sense.

It has been happening in CASim, when I go to pick out traits they have very muffled voices. It's not supposed to be that way.
