Never mind :)

I am trying to get three old sims of mine from my studio into my game.

When I try to download them, I get the circle with the cross through it, and hovering over that gives me a message that says they can't be downloaded because they are already installed.

Sure enough, when I check installed content in the launcher, there they are. However, they do not appear in my CAS library and I can't find files for them in my Saved Sims folder.

When I try to uninstall them via the launcher (so that it will let me install them again) the installer window says that the process failed because it couldn't find the file.

What do I do? I would really like to get my sims back! I have all my important builds backed up on my google drive, but I never got round to doing it for my sims.

Thanks in advance!

    Never mind!

A kind friend downloaded and re-uploaded them as a household for me :)

Also, it just occurs to me just now that installing them on a clean docs folder and then copying across the .sim files might be a thing to try if anyone else has this problem.
