No portraits?! What about selfies?

I don't know if it's been confirmed that there are is no portrait painting in the game or if I've misunderstood.
This would have come in handy for keeping a visual record of generations past now that there are no family trees...but surely I remember seeing sims taking selfies, so they can still be photographed right?

They can take selfties and group pics with the smart phone and prehaps romantic pics on the smart phone.

Hopefully they can be framed and hung on a wall or placed on a desk. I love to have family pics around my sims houses and look at them when the sims are older and think " Oh look at them when they were kids! How cute!"
