@gmcrozier Thank you I did figure that much, the reason I was asking is because the title in the index confused me some what "BUILD-N-SHARE CHALLENGE #17 **DUE 05/13** BEST LAID PLANS PART II" Should't it read "BUILD-N-SHARE CHALLENGE #18 **DUE 05/13** BEST LAID PLANS PART II" Thats why I asked becasue I though I might have misunderstood that this is still part of a 17th challenge somehow..lol.. Thanks anyway
Hi @Zita1966z - just an admin error on my part, will fix it now
@BuildnShare Thanx 4 the reply. Actually I thought afterwards it 2 be a silly remark 2 make on my part, but then again being new at these challenges I try to be vigilant and not miss-read instructions. Hehe like I said..feeling a bit silly now

Wow, great builds guys: @folala I love the simplicity of your build, very peaceful and beautiful. @Liziann1, great architectural build. Very spacious for the wheelchair to move around. @Nhicks, a lot of great ideas that I didn't even know was possible, really lovely house. Great use of MOO. Well done all.
@Zita1966z Retired Peace is a lovely home. Very realistic exterior color combination. The brick color, roof line, and roof pattern flow very well. The garage is nicely done and looks really real. I really like the modern touch of the semi covered front entry, and the glass door was a perfect match. Beautiful landscaping and the gnomes were a nice touch I really love the creativity behind your creation of a wheelchair. Your traditional furnishings with your added modern touch was nicely placed. Well Done!
Also, Thank you for your kind comments about my house.
@TwtyBrd0707 Great Job on Best Laid Plans II I really like the blue siding and the wrap around deck. The ramp was genius. Nice layout of the interior as well. Great Job!
@folala I love your curb appeal. Your landscaping is very inviting. I really your exterior choice and the peek a boo arches of your walk up entry deck. The window boxes were a great extra added touch as well. Great job on the backyard. I really like your added pond, painters station and bench seating area. The "pillows" were a very creative idea for padded seating. Nice job on your interior. I think my fav. was the light pink couch choice. Unexpected but really nice. Great Job!
@Liziann1 Your front landscaping is really pretty. I like your use of moo to create your water features. The surprise garden nook is really cute and I like the shape of your house overall makes for a cool floor plan. I really like your use of blue and red for your interior furnishings and I love the corner eating bar. Great Job!
Thank You @Issabella14 I surprised myself with some of it too LOL

Thank you!!! I love seeing everyone's talent! I learn a lot, too (as I'm as amateur as you get. This will be my first time in the Established category.)
Really pleased to see you in established @pammiechick and I must say "about time too"!
Thanks...but really I just started using moo and the hidden lighting. I've never really used it much and I'm trying to study different ways to do roofing. I'm still unsure about it all. Ah well...I need to challenge myself! @Issabella14 's pyramid really inspired me to figure out how to craft something like that! Amazing!
Everyone's entry's are looking so great! I'm at SFO airport waiting for my flight back to the UK and hopefully I will get enough Sims time over the weekend to build something for this challenge! great work everyone and Happy Simming
@pammiechick, what a beautiful house, and a romantic back story. Aw they look so in love. @masajo, stunning home, love the landscaping. Very romantic too
p.s welcome to the established side @pammiechick
Thanks, @Issabella14 ! That couple was the most compatible I've ever made. They came out all over one another and I've made many married couples. They were so cute!
ENTRY DETAILS:"Kathleen and Kelvin are elderly, so the décor should match accordingly." I really struggled with that line from the brief. Just how old are they? 50's... born in the 60's, childhood in the 70's, teens or twenties in the 80's. 60's born in the 50's, childhood in the 60's.... I think you see where I am going with this. Saying that the elderly ONLY like 1 style is like saying that ALL teenagers wear baggy pants, listen to rap music and are thugs.... NOT TRUE. Kathleen and Kevin grew up with Mid-Century Modern and have witnessed It's many revivals. Golden Years is a tribute to that architecture. Clean lines, minimal landscaping and most certainly... wheelchair friendly. In this build you will notice that a lot of the tables are missing a chair (including the make up table in the master bath), this is so that Kathleen can easily wheel up to them, without having to move a chair out of the way. There is a pool at Golden Years, so that Kathleen can do her physical therapy at home. The living room features accordion style glass doors that open to expose the living room to the back terrace. Everywhere you look it is open and uncluttered so that Kathleen can maneuver more easily. The master suit features double doors, both into the bedroom and into the master bath. Hard flooring is used throughout except for the bedrooms, making it easier for Kathleen to move about. The minimal landscaping allows Kevin to spend more time with his family and his beloved Kathleen.
