Sims 3 expansions bought in Origin

I've looked through EA's help section, etc, and can't find a solution presently or really any direct mentioning of this.
When I purchased games in Steam, I got the standard bonus simpoints for the purchases. (I also received CD keys that were compatible with this store). I bought a few more expansions last night in Origin, which don't have compatible keys. Everywhere I read says that they will be auto-registered here, and the bonus content all worked just fine. However, I can't figure out how to get the bonus simpoints like I did in Steam?
(I much prefer simpoints over content since I can get what I actually want with those!)

what EPs did you buy? i only recall the early ones having bonus simpoints and not anything like after pets.
