Downloading Sims from the Gallery in Sims 4

I have been watching all the posts of those who received the Sims 4 Cas Demo and are posting pictures of their Sim creations. Those Sims are looking pretty good. Can anyone tell me if you will be able access Sims on the Gallery that have been posted there for some time or will they be removed as new Sims take their place? This was one of the problems with the Exchange and you would have to spend hours searching if you wanted a Sim which had been posted earlier. I lost my entire game due to a faulty patch and was able to recover my Sim creations and lots that I had uploaded but it took a long time and I could not recover all of them(or was there a way of doing it that I did not know about?) It would be nice if there is a simpler way of finding Sims.
