Those who got Sims 4 CAS Demo plz share your PC specs

I have seen lots of videos and lots of pics of CAS Demo
While some pics look sooo good very smooth others do not look good and hard on edges and very blocky. Could be due to low PC specs or not proper way of taking screen shot.

To those who have it can you please share your PC specs, Your experience with CAS, if it worked smoothly etc.. And your CAS settings.

I appreciate your contribution here. Will help us to know where do we stand with our PCs when we get it
Everything I post is an opinion here and I think every post of others is as well.

Although they have said Sims 4 will work better than Sims 3 did in low end comps....i doubt that it's the truth.

Mine is Mac 2009. 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
    10GB ram.

I would bet you that it will not work well on my computer. More so because if they don't sell it as a native Mac game, i will have to play it through Parallells.

    Here's mine:

    CPU: Intel i7-2640M (dual core)
    RAM: 8 GBs
    OS: Windows 7 64-bit
    GPU: Nvidia 525M 2GB

I've been playing the demo on high settings in 1080p resolution. It looks fantastic and runs very smoothly. I would be ecstatic if the actual game ran this well but I'm not counting on it!

    HP h9-1180
    i7-3770 CPU
    3.40 GHz
    12.0 GB Ram
Window 7 Home Premium, 64 bit (not in a rush to update to Win 8.1)

Works like a charm. Sims 3 runs great and any temporary glitches seem to be due to CC or updates etc. It has never been a computer issue. Graphics are great in the game as well.

I use Norton Internet Security for years. I run CCleaner regularly as well as Glary Utilities. Never have a problem with viruses.

A sample pic of the Sims 4 demo ( I think I want this guy to move in!)

I received the CAS DEMO. It's pretty cool. But its somewhat difficult to use. The game runs flawlessly or atleast CAS does...Im pretty sure the sims 4 will also run well on my computer considering I built it specifically for gaming....might up my processor.

Runs great on my system! I have default settings so I'm not sure what they're running at within the game.

    I'm on a laptop.

    Windows 8
    Intel i5-3230M
    12GB RAM\
Dual 650m running in SLI (which the Sims does NOT utilize)

I run everything in ultra high quality, 1920x1080 in a full screen window. I run a browser and a few other applications on my primary monitor while CAS runs in my secondary monitor. It looks decent and runs well. I really appreciate the ability to run in a full screen window -- this is great for a dual monitor setup.

Also tried on my tablet but touch screen support is horrible. Did not take pics. Ran fine though

I think the CAS Demo is okay on the low end machines but that' not the full game. I believe the same failures that TS3 had will arise when the base game is released then people start to add on EPs/SPs. EA has once again set the specs too low and I for one refuse to offer anymore "free" tech support for TS4.

Below is a re-post of part of my feedback for the CAS Demo.

    33w9stj.jpg

    Current Specs

OS: Microsoft® Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit Edition)
    NOTEBOOK: MSI MS1762 (System Model: GT70 0NC series) Gaming Notebook 17.3" FHD LED-Backlit 1920x1080 16:9 Display
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM Mobile Processor 2.40 GHz (8 CPUs) 6M Smart Cache, Max Turbo Freq. 3.40 GHz
MEMORY: 16GB (4GBx4) DDR3-1600 SODIMM Memory (Corsair Vengeance Gaming)
    HDD1: 750GB 7200RPM SATA300 Hard Drive
HDD2: 750GB My Passport External Hard Drive
VIDEO1: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 (For everyday use)
    VIDEO2: NVIDIA GTX 675M 2GB (For gaming)

    33w9stj.jpg

Overall I'm okay with the CAS Demo but it hasn't made me change my mind about pre-ordering, so I'm still on the fence. I need to see way more than this to make me change my mind (i.e. actual gameplay). I'm still looking for that "Wow Factor".

Note: I've also snooped around in the the GraphicsCards.sgr and GraphicsRules.sgr files. Turns out the Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 (integrated) isn't even on the list. You've somehow missed it and that is a widely used integrated card. Since it's not on the list the graphics were automatically set to low. Strange all the other Intel cards (even older) were there.

This needed to be added to the list.

I've since gone into the NCP and assigned the dedicated gaming graphics. As well as set the resolution to 1080p and the below.
