Quick question: Can male Sims have lipstick? My goth males need black lipstick!
NO!!! One of my biggest gripes. Males can have eye makeup and that's it. And, there doesn't seem to be any eye makeup allowed for formal attire, either.
You can! there's the filter that organises things on what they think is appropriate, you simply need to uncheck the filter and then you can get to the eyemakeup for formal wear!

Not that it helps the lips and cheeks for guys. Of course, they don't have opacity sliders for the makeup, either, and they've definitely upped the saturation level of colors for this game so it might not work to have lip and cheek makeup for guys with no way of toning it down.

Is there a way in the demo to take pics of the sims I'm creating? Or do I have to have some kind of screen capture program? I want to take pics of my sims!
Right now, there's no in-game tool set for taking photos. I'd be very surprised if they didn't include the capture button when the full game is released.
I downloaded Fraps (recommended by a few other simmers) and it's extremely easy to use. You just have to make sure you open it before you open your game so you can take pics with it. And, every time you open, you have to change the save location if you don't want to use their default location (not sure if that's different if you purchase it).

So many amazing Sims on this thread! I especially love how guys actually look like guys now; I always thought they looked a little odd in TS3, but they look rad in TS4! :shock:

Positions are set unfortunately. But you can layer them, as far as I know the lower back tattoo stacks with the larger back tattoos such as the stars. And you can have both arms tattoo'ed at once. And the dolphin tattoo stacks with everything.
Made mine and my boyfriends simselves. (With a silly, 13 yr old on facebook last name)
Couldn't find any long hair for my sim, long is classed as shoulder length for some reason.

I have to say that I really like Sydney. Her formal picture really makes her look like a 40s-50s era movie star.
