Mortimer and Bella are... engaged?

I just noticed that Mortimer and Bella appear to be wearing engagement rings in their render.
Do you think this will be the case? I really hoped we'd see Cassandra and Alexander return, but I did always get a vibe that Bella would be a young adult, and this was the Goths starting out as a couple somehow. Apologies if this has been noticed before and I'm bringing up old trash.
