    Home Designer's Challenge, old thread

    This is a game I 100% invented! At least I believe so..haha

    Rules:
    1) I will upload a house I made to the Exchange (unfurnished)
    2) Download it to your game and decorate it and landscape however you like.
    3) No altering the structure of the walls, including interior walls!!! but feel free to change the paint, flooring, outside paint, landscape, roof tile and structure, windows, add a deck, balcony, etc.
    4) Now, upload your finished project to the exchange, post the link here, and preferably, post pictures of it here too or make a story and post the link.
    5) Each week I will have a guest judge (who is the winner from the previous week) help me choose our favorite house design.

    Voting
    Each week for each challenge, submit your top three favorites. I'll then tally the votes and post the winners!

    Do I need to clarify anything?
    Ask questions!

    Interpret the layout of the house however you want. It does not have to stick to the layout I set, i.e. 3 bd 3 ba. It could be 1 bd 4 ba for example.

      That does sound fun, but my design skills aren't good enough to compete even though I've watched hours of hgtv. :)

      This sounds so fun, I love decorating!
      But the computer I'm on isn't my sims computer. And my sims computer doesn't have internet. awwhh :(

      are we able to change to roof? like the structure of it or what not?

      Yeah you can change the structure of the roof. Just not the walls :) I'll edit that into the rules.

      Sure you can submit a house design if you want and I'll see if I'll use it in Week Two!

      Another question: What about windows and doors? I'm assuming it's okay to change 'em, I just thought I'd ask before I got too involved.
