I'm hoping to add photos, but please don't hold me to that as I've got both my kids home with me now and dinner to cook
But here's a list of things I noticed in the trailer and what I THINK(obviously I could be wrong) they mean!!
:16- in the background I see what looks like a jungle gym possibly. I really hope for some new playground stuff!
:18- the UI has a searchbar.... what?!
:20- Piano! Yes!! Now hopefully children can play them as well!!
:22- Different balcony types? Maybe they are just fences, but I like that we are getting a decent variety!
:30- street car tracks, public trashcan... hopefully this all means open world?
:43- You can change the color scheme of the rooms in blueprint mode!
1:40- Cacti are back!! OOhh and a lama hedge!
1:48- The counter island looks to have a rounded edge, or maybe that's the bar?
1:53- off to the side I see a community garden!!
1:55- are those newspaper boxes?? Maybe we can choose to buy the paper instead of having it dropped off every day!!
1:56- finally a normal coffee pot and more upper cabinet selections!
2:01- a wedding venue! Maybe this will add new depth to weddings!! I hope!
2:05- in the background there's a building over water... could we possibly have swimming in the ocean in the base game?!
2:07- the ability to change chimney types... but where are the fireplaces?!
2:08- a sim running around a track behind the house!
2:09- someones eating a slice of cake and drinking a glass of milk!!!
2:12- streetcars, will these replace the taxi's? that would be great and probably cut down on the clutter for performance!
2:23- what's up with the crafting bench? What is she making... hmmmm?
I tried to catch as much as I could going frame by frame. Did you all notice anything else?? I'm finally starting to get excited about this game I think!

This is exciting - at least to me
Or I guess I can just do it the old way and do it myself.
I must say, though, that I am intrigued by the fact that it seems the groom is reading his wedding vows. Still no officiant though, huh?
Oh I hope we have ducks! Even if they are just spawners!! I like the food too, idk why but I love to have my sims cook a wide variety of foods so I hope we start off with a good amount of recipes!

I thought it looked a lot like the sims 1 gnome making bench!

I'm always the same way!! I hate having all those papers littering my yard!

I'm hoping for the same. I would love too if you could hire a wedding photographer and assign a maid of honor, groomsmen and all. I doubt it will be too involved though, at least not from the very start!

Also at 1:48 there's a white thing floating across the lake on the right. Is this just the reflection of the sun, or the duck jaletu2005 said someone saw?
I saw both! Good catch. That is definitely a bird of some sort because it was moving way too fast to be a butterfly. But keep in mind that they are probably spawners. It seemed to be flying out of the tree.
Wouldn't swans swimming on the lake be great?
Also idk if I read wrongly, but I thought people were saying that ponds are only seen outside lots, but there's a pond clearly inside the lot at 2:02.
The pond is definitely inside the lot, you can clearly see the lot boundary lines if you look, they are lit up in light green.
Edit: Unfortunately it looks like the pond could just be an object. I hope i'm wrong.

Good catch! Totally missed those! Wouldn't it be fun if our sims could feed the ducks, or go bird watching like they did in the sims 2?!

I hope my Sims and lots aren't too terrible!
I agree! It would also be cool if we could make our own collection folders or favorites category because I know there are certain things I use way more often and I hate having to search through all the junk to find it!!

And I agree with the OP about the coffee pot. I'm glad it's normal-looking. It looks very nice.
In TS3, you could buy a whole house for $12,000. It makes me wonder how hard the sims will have to work to earn enough money to have a nice house. This could be the early ramblings of a challenging game!
SAW the bird.
Yeah, it would be a neat addition to the gameplay if say a sim could take his/her children to feed the ducks on weekends or something.
Hopefully we'll hear a lot more about what's going to be in the game at E3.
