Placing baked goods in food racks

I am having difficulty placing my sims baked goods in the racks, the only way I can do it is to go into buy mode everytime they bake something. is there an easier way or is this a bug?

I would like to see some kind of video evidence of The Sims Studio using this thing prior to selling it.

i.e. instead of us working out how to use it.

There are some epic fails going on with this thing. I have seen YouTube videos of people demonstrating the new bakery and running into all kinds of problems in their live play-throughs.

Seriously, I've seen people giving up on stocking their freshly made produce and diverting to something else to talk about.

But that would have involved play testing the set which is wasting far too much time - that's what we're for. Didn't you know you're an unofficial beta tester?
