Game Manuals...

Does anyone else miss the little manual books that came in the expansion packs etc? I used to love reading through them whilst I was waiting for my game to install and learning about all the new features! Now all we have is a registration code

I know it's better for the environment but it makes me sad...

Just pointing out there is a full game guide in the game.

Personally I don't miss the booklets. I always got more joy from discovering stuff than a booklet telling me it's there.

I enjoyed them, and it was nice having a quick reference to various commands while I was actually playing, without having to stop & look things up.

I thought last year I saw an actual Sims Guide (like those Prima guides) on sale somewhere, and if I wasn't broke from buying holiday presents, I would have loved to get it!

Yep, loved those little manuals. Was a quick highlight of what new objects were in the game and what I could look forward to. And still not give it all away. I honestly feel kind of blind sometimes playing sims 3 when my sims get a wish to do something. And I have no clue what in the world they are even talking about sometimes.

I loved the booklets! I have the sims 3 prima guide which I find useful for looking up base game careers I just wish they sold an updated one after all the expansions have been released to add that content too

i miss them too.

and speaking of broke. i barely have any spending money. so that means base game, ambitions, supernatural, and uni life. (and CC and mods)

I'm a reader, and so I love to read all kinds of manuals. I know that I learn best by seeing rather than hearing.
