Exchange Community Lot

I have a community lot posted on the exchange that downloads fine, but does not show up in the bin for some people. I tested the download yesterday, and it showed up for me in my game, but I checked my downloads in the launcher today and it is no longer shown as installed. My original in-game save is still in the bin and I have had no problems with the lot when testing. The lot has no CC, but it does have various EP, SP, and store items. The original lot is in Roaring Heights.
Does anyone have any ideas on why this may be happening? I have had a few issues in the past with store items uninstalling, but I don't remember having an entire lot disappear.
It seems like this is possibly a launcher problem. It may be a coincidence, but I just installed a new store patch yesterday.
To bypass the launcher, couldn't someone put the package file from my sims 3 library folder in their folder and have it show up in their in-game community lot bin?
