My game won't update. Help?

i dont know why but when i click on refresh on the update tab on the launcher, nothing happens. i think it may be because of origin. i dont know whats wrong with mine. anyway, i went to simsvip to download and install update 1.63 manually, but it didnt work. it said error. why? i went to another site and found one but it refused to download for me. is there somewhere else i can download it because i want my game up to date.
