There seems to be a lot more base game content this time. It reminds me of the Sims 2 in more than just the graphics since it seems funnier but at the cost of being less realistic. I have watched trailers,i am not sure where i am standing currently there are really nice developments there like easier/more free to create a sim,it is less rigid and more easily to shape them! At builder's point of view it looks also more easier to create a building,it is flexible at many things and i assume u can work faster! Sims traits are look like more developed,but i am not sure how it will reflect at social interactions! Well disapointed part is grafics are more cartoonish,it is more closed to sims2 then sims3. As u can guess it made people very angry,also i have heard someone tt preorder price of sims4 is usd dollars 70,00! O.O"

I just got back from being on vacation in the Florida Keys. Got lots of ideas for Island Paradise LOL.
Most of the previous posters have already mentioned the Sims4 stuff. I really liked the expanded build capabilities from the gameplay trailer. Especially the ability to pick up an entire room and move it!
CAS in TS4 allows you to basically push and pull your sims' faces and bodies into the shape you want. Know what that means? My simself can finally have mah skinny waist and THUNDER THIGHS! I want that sim to look like an hourglass ate a pear :twisted:
On a personal note, I like the look of the sims so far. Still room for improvement but I like the direction they've taken!
Also, not sure if this is really news, but they may have changed the complete your set thing a bit? I say this because when I first checked the sets/compilations I didn't have enough of anything to get the rest of any for free, but a few days ago I looked and one which I definitely couldn't get free before was showing to download, and I haven't acquired any more of those items since I last looked. So, yeah...maybe!

To me this is pretty exciting news, some simmers in the store forum have been talking with a guru and there's a REALLY good chance that the store and game fountains will start working again! They're ok not functioning (but..sometimes they don't look very nice, they look stagnant) but working, they're incredible. DangerDanger, welcome back from your sabbatical. Of course the big news is of Gamescon, Sims 4 and the new Sims 4 website and everyone has filled you in.

Let's see...it looks like everyone has shown you all the new sim stuff already. Sims 4 info, new set, check. So I guess that just leaves me with stuff to tell about my crazy week and a half!
So, last monday (not the one 2 days ago, the one before that) we had a really bad thunderstorm and we got hit by lightening. Good bye tvs, nintendo wii, garage door, and network connecty portion of my motherboard! Hello giant hassle with insurance company and deductible! So yeah...spent tues/wed talking to insurance and repair people and setting up appointments with said repair people. And then some fun time! Spent thurs-sat visiting with my brother visiting from colorado, the one I hadn't gotten to see in over a year...that was nice. And then we came home...only to get a phone call that my father-in-law had to go to the hospital...so sunday we went to see hubby's family to visit with him (and attend a baby shower for my sister-in-law). Hubby's dad is doing much better now, they think it was a heart spasm caused by his left lung not fully inflating him and leaving him short of breath. And then this monday, I spent the day with the repair people, who gave me all sorts of fun estimates and documentation to give the insurance peoples. Who need to give us monies already, darn it! And yesterday, I had a dr appointment. Just a yearly checkup, but took a good chunk of my day. Stupid new patient forms and lab work. So today...I plan to sim, darn it! I need some time off! (and thank goodness for laptops, cause my desktop is still out of commission til like, thursday).
We missed you, danger! *hugs* How's that new puppy treating you? They can be a handful...ours is now 50 lbs and still growing...he's at 8 months now. So maybe he's getting close to done, lol.

I'm kind of disappointed in the sims4 right now because they look so plastic; however, I am intrigued by the fact that we can change their walk and the new moods they can have. I think I probably wont buy it right away unless it has everything that sims3 has including the EPs.
Also I got a black and white cat! There's some discrepancies in her file though so she's somewhere between 4 and 8 years old :shock:

I'm fairly out of loop myself since I've been super busy.
I did have a little melt down do to stress. you know the usual. Thankfully everyon sent me lots of love and I'm still feeling it!
I BECAME A GRANDMA LAST TUESDAY TO A LITTLE GIRL!!!!! She has been in the hospital the past week, she was 2 days out from being full term. Emergency c-section.. But she is alot better and is going home tonight!! Her name is Nylah-Jade Chantel Slay.. Her pic is in my blog here...
You've missed people like me obstinantly avoiding all things TS4 because of the cost that will be involved in getting it, expanding it, shopping for it, gifting for it... AAAAAHHH!
I don't want to like it! I don't want to be interested! Especially when I get frustrated at how they botched TS3 with all of the glitches, bugs, errors, etc.
I know I'm not alone in this...am I?
