Interesting problem - glitchy mod is working but is nowhere to be found

Okay, so... Interesting problem.
I hadn't played in like, 18+ months. So a few days ago, I started up again. Everything was working well. My same-sex pregnancy mod was working and all. Then I updated to 1.55 (from 1.29). I later learned I needed to use the Super Patcher. Did that.
Okay. So. My Sims can't click on one another or themselves, which makes the game highly unplayable. I've pulled my Mods, of which there were only a couple, and it's still not working.
Now I'm suspecting it's this out-of-date pregnancy mod that's borking everything up, but it's nowhere to be seen! Not on Launcher, not in my Downalods/Mods folder... Nowhere! How can this be?! Where is it? If this isn't it, I don't know what else to do.
