    Boats in Cars/Transportation category help

    I can't figure how to place the boats on my lot. Do I need to build another dock or something?

      You need a moor. They're also in the area where you buy boats.
      Tomorrow has been cancelled due to a lack of interest.

      In the boat section of buy mode you can buy a mooring post or a boat trailer. They act as parking spots for boats. Once you place one of those on your lot you'll be able to place a boat on it. Or in live mode you can click on it and it gives the option to purchase a boat.

      The above posters are right. You need to place one of three things: You can place a mooring post, a docking cleat, or a boat trailer. Mooring posts go in the water. Docking cleats can be placed on the edges of your dock, and the boat trailer needs to be on flat land. It's about the same size as a parking space.

      If you don't want to put it on your lot, you can use the mooring posts and docking cleats at any of the ports in town to purchase a boat. It will go right into your inventory.
