    Creating A Mermaid

    I was under the impression that we could create a mermaid in the CAS (Create-A-Family), but when I go into other species, Mermaid is not available. Does that mean we can only do it in game.

      It can only be done while playing the game, but after you do get your sim to be turned into a Mermaid, take them to the mirror. There will be a choice to change their scale colors there.

      LaBlue is correct. You have to meet one and then get the magic merkelp from them by asking about scales or fish parts. Your friendship has to be at a really high level for them to give them to you. You cannot at this time pre-make a mermaid/man sim.
