Calling all house boats!

So I really want to download some house boats from the exchange, but I'm finding myself sifting through pages to find them. What to do about it? Make a thread!

Have you built a house boat? Do you have one (or five) that you downloaded and like? Post them here!

Include a picture if you can, the link to it on the exchange, if it has any custom content (I, as well as many others, refuse to download anything with custom content), and maybe a short description!

I just think it would be useful to have sort of a "collection" of house boats available for download in one place. It would be good for inspiration as well, to get more house boats uploaded to the exchange 8)

A ever so pale shade of sky(ish) blue, she is 2+ bedrooms, has a all in one kitchen living room and diningroom on the main deck 2nd deck id "The Captains Cabin" Aka room with steering wheel lol Should already be upgraded to Auto pilot and maybe fast engine, on the balcont is a bar(barnacl bay) and the ladder to the Top lounge deck NO CC,

Should be no CC i dont download any anymore way to many problems lol im doub;e checking just incase you know how it is download something says no CC and theres some lol but i think im good i do weekly checks for CC do it should be fine. uploading pics soon, waiting on photobucket then have to go back in game to upload cause my game crashed said theres a store content patch or something ... ooh i did use a few items from the banacle bay bundle the bar telescope and chess table

Scratch that patch thing just my launcher being stupid! and deffo no CC

I have 2 of them both CC FREE too. I never use it. Too many problems with it in the past.

'Fancy' the Ship of Captain Avery

Description: This is the pirate ship of Captain Henry Avery as depicted on Doctor Who. Or at least as close as could be replicated. Included in the build is a captain's quarters on the upper deck. Below deck are the crew quarters, magazine, galley, hull. There is also a considerable amount of treasure and various odd and ends. It is cluttered up to give it a more realistic appearance.

I tried to get as close as I could to the ship on the show and still maintain the lots usefulness in the sims. The Ships name is "Fancy".

Bedrooms: 2 (captain's quarters and crew quarters room for 4 sims)
Baths: 1 (all-in-ones)
Other Rooms: Galley, Magazine, hull.

Upgraded Appliances: No

Tested: Yes I had 3 test sims on the boat no issues that I found.

Warning: This boat contains a lot of store items. Some of which are pictured but do not show up in the list provided by EA on the exchange. One of which I noticed right off the bat was the cannon. I am not sure if there are any others or not I would have to send some time going back over the build to get a list. If it is requested I may do so, but will not be doing it right now.

Also I'm not sure if it correctly lists all of the expansions and stuff packs I used. It may have left one or two out. It gets hard to keep track with as much stuff as I have for the game.

Description: This houseboat is also a science vessel. it has a lab, hydorponics area, complete control room, engine room, and living quarters for two. There are plenty of skill building items on board as well.

Bedrooms: 1 (double)
Baths: 2 (all-in-ones)
Other Rooms: Science Lab, Hydroponics, Control Room, Engine Room, Galley, Workroom

Skills/Hobby Objects Included: Computer(2), Telescope, Chess, Science Lab, Skeleton, Garden, Grill, Bookshelf, Mirror, Inventing Workbench, Easel, Sketchpad, Broadcasting station, TV (2), radio(2), Full Kitchen, and Chin-up bar, aquarium.
Upgraded Appliances: Yes
Play tested: Yes. No major routing errors that I could find. You may have issues fishing. If you do and it's a big deal just get rid of the half wall around the lower deck.

Expansions: Supernatural (a chair and plants), Late Night (engine room stuff), World Adventures (plants), Seasons (plants), Showtime (counters I think), Generations (plants and electronics) (I also used the Murphy Bed can't remember what EP it's from), University Life (skill items, plants), Pets (rope décor), Ambitions (skill items),
Stuff Packs: Outdoor Living (kitchen items, and other furniture).

I think those are what I used. I have all the expansions, worlds (minus DV) and stuff packs so there may be other items that I used. I also used several items from the store. Notably items from Sun, Surf & Sand (Sleep), and Skylight Studio.

Noooo, "The Little Blue" is absolutely beautiful!! I will certainly be downloading it! It's simple, yet elegant. Well done!

Fancy is amazing! I can some-what hold my own when it comes to building, but I'm terrible when it comes to "thinking outside the box" like that!

I actually downloaded Serene Sailing earlier today, I think it's gorgeous!

magicmelody It's not rubbish! though I have to admit I did get a chuckle out of your post, especially the use of the bugeye smiley! LOL To be honest I threw Serene Sailing together in like a couple hours I really wasn't putting much effort into it. I'm still surprised by how many downloads it has gotten. Now Fancy took a long time. I had to use a lot of CFE to get it all the way I wanted the build to look.

Thanks noclue642! I love the way Fancy came out. Even if the back isn't totally shaped the way I wanted (Silly boarding area of the ship).

DivaOfDarkness very cute build for the sunray. I love the use of the bottom of the wall level windows. Those are one of my favorite windows in the game. And thanks for the compliment!

Also you kind of can name them sort of. If you go to edit town you can select the lot add a name and description that way. You can do it with houses too. So it's not totally naming the boat but it's kind of close.

lol glad i made u gigle haha, "The Little Blue" only took an hour and half i think, wasnt thinking of doing anything really just happen to pop out lol i love the wave wall paper they gave us(in master bed) lol, im glad my houseboat had room for Mylo and Max(the dogs) i didnt wanna give them up Savannah would have been heartbroken lol. im not into massive builds that take ages i get bored easily so cant play big lots so house boats are perfect, i dont mind farm lots for horses and nice farm houses but i dont do mansions lol
