    How to find mermaids and the kraken?

    I haven't found any mermaids yet my sim has been to all the diving spots! And a lot of people have seen the kraken swimming but I haven't and I have the the "friend of the kraken" lifetime reward but it doesn't work on any type of boat, even when they're in the middle of the ocean!
    Please help!

      The grotto would be a good place to start. And I think my sim met Mia Azul in Rocky Reef. With the kraken I think that sounds more like a glitch or bug with the LTR not working.
