    i opened up my launcher and click on refresh for updates and it said there was a update...I'm downloading right now. give it try

      It's says it updating to 1.55.4
      Now to wait a year while the game loads to see what's in it!

      I don't get a patch install either.. All it did was install something for World Adventures, and update my client to 2.17.2..

      There's no official word on the "game update" page, and the place where it says the features says "404 Not found". I'm not gonna update until A: Someone here says it's safe. And B: I get the official word.

      I don't know that the length of the download matters. A lot depends on your connection and processor speeds. I'm already at 55% and it's been less than a minute for me.

      I already updated Origin ready for it.

      I updated Origin, my launcher still says I'm upto date.

      Call me very skeptical on the OP.
