So, eventually (when I build some more simpoints) I was thinking of holding a contest for maternity wear. (Because I'm evil and like making contests where you are super limited in what you can use. :twisted: )

To help out first, I wanted to make a list off all the clothes that can be worn as maternity wear. Someone has tried making a list before, but they are missing some things. So, I wanted to make a more organized list.

There are few things I'm unsure of. Please let me know what I need to take off my list and what I need to add to it.

Hi sunset! The only one I know for sure off the top of my head is a full outfit from Seasons. It's like a trench coat and jeans? It's also coded for outerwear. I like it a lot, it's a cute outfit, but my sim was pregnant in summer and it just looked very hot and uncomfortable.

What a great idea! I know the base game jeans you are unsure of--the first pair is the pair that works. I don't think the jean jacket works, either.

If you're including store content then the long pink dress in the wedding (clothes only) set.
That's the only one I remember off the top of my head that you haven't listed yet

I heard that this dress can be worn by pregnant sims, not sure if they show the bump or not.


And this one deffinately shows no tummy.

Yes they do - so I do not consider it maternity wear. There is also that glitched shirt that has a white tee and a pink skirt tied around the middle the one that gapes when you get pregant. I would avoid that. Think it came with a registration reward or Riverview.

but the medival one should work (show the bumb)


the top that cuts the belly I think is a store top... one you buy... it is not a registration or free gift thing

Yeah, same. I would want the baby-bump.

Someone on the other thread just mentioned this shirt. I'm guessing that's the one you guys are talking about.

I also don't have the store items, so I can't take in-game pictures to include them in my list. (If anyone else wanted to get the photos for me this is my model and I was taking the pictures in the stylist's station from Ambitions, using "print screen" button while in windowed mode so I could include the clothing option menu in the photo.)

This is a really cute idea! Especially since I'm bad at recoloring and would love some new stuff for my pregnant ladies .

I'd be happy to sponsor a few simpoints.

I don't believe I saw when you wanted to open this, do you have an idea yet or is it still up for debate in your mind? :P

I'm not sure. I don't have any simspoints at the moment, so I need to save up with those sponsored ads or buy some.

I probably also need a little bit of a break before starting up another contest, since I just wrapped up my elder clothing contest yesterday.

Hey Just letting you know an easy way to figure these out is by getting the master controller mod and going into stylist on a pregnant sim, it shows you which one's can be used

I don't play with any mods, but I figured other people who do could help out with the list. :-)
