Tanning brought back werewolf eye glow?

I was messing around with my werewolf (currently in Hidden Springs), and as always, some glitch makes his eyes stop glowing after starting up a saved game.
It's hard to tell in this picture, but he's pale-skinned, no eye glow.
And then, since he was apparently outside long enough, he got tanned. Which was when I noticed:
His eyes are glowing again, which surprised me.
Anyone else have this happen to their werewolves in-game?
