This is long overdue, and I am speaking in the past. We start this episode with our dear Blue.
She was not feeling happy (what’s new) because she just lost a hot dog eating contest to Sirus Flake.
“**** it! I wanted to win a year’s supply of hot dogs!!”
“🐸🐸🐸🐸, Sirus! Watching you engorge on those hot dogs made me frikkin’ sick to my stomach!”
Blue needed to cheer up, so I suggested she give her school friend Freddy Conrad a call.
“Hey Freddy. I heard you had your birthday. D’ya wanna come over?”
Freddy grew up and— woa, he changed dramatically. (Yeah, no pudding boyfriends allowed here.) He is also a vamp.
It was mutual attraction. *bling bling! pink hearts!*
Freddy: “My favorite color is blue… and your name is Blue and you’re wearing a blue shirt. So that’s cool, right?”
They hung out and played pool downstairs.
“I can beat your *** at pool. Just watch me!”
“Yeah, yeah, you think so.”
“I told ya! I am teh awesome at games!”
“You are!”
“I really like that in a girl.”

And she and I are okay with them being a couple even though he is a vampire. Just don’t infect the rest of us!
Then it was time for the twins’ birthdays!
Of course we had a backyard party, with balloons in the twins’ favorite color, aqua. Both being hydrophobic, that is kind of an odd coincidence.
First Salem’s turn.
He does his little turn during the sparkles.
And a very confused gaze upon entering childhood.
Along with Hydrophobic and Slob, he gained Inappropriate. Oh boy.
Then Kale’s turn.

Salem, stop laughing at your brother!
Yeah… Kale does not know how to hold a piece of cake.
He has his daddy’s eyes and mommy’s nose (in male form). Along with Hydrophobic and Clumsy, he gained Shy. Well, that’s not so bad I guess. Might be kind of endearing.
Since Jemma was moved out, Blue had taken over Jemma’s room.
The boys are sharing Grayson’s room downstairs. Grayson was living elsewhere and off checking out University campuses — in the meantime, taking a career in the sciences.
Guess what! Willow is back!!
Yeah. Willow died, if you may remember. But she had a bit of a transformation. A pet sematary type thing, so to speak. A tad bit scary, even.
I used Nraas to reincarnate her as a ghost. Got a little freaked out and sent her back to the grave again. (Thinking about Stephen King’s Pet Sematary and hearing that spooky ghost-cat meow…) But I still missed her and ‘debug enabled’ her again. She now lives as a wandering ghost-cat. Her home is technically still the Watley estate (shows in the portrait panel), but she wanders throughout town and is rarely found home.
When “we” first reincarnated her we eventually found her downtown — coincidentally darting almost in the path of Tegan driving the family Focus.

She ran all the way from center city to our big house up over the hill.
Past Meowingtons the cat, who is getting old now (eek!).

Grayson is back home for a while. He really got into Breaking Bad during the finale and season recap marathon. Here he is sporting his Walter White glasses and hat. He even grew some facial hair! Wow! I didn’t know he could grow hair on his face!

068 Creepy Vamps and Tegan Gets the Boot (01-12-14)

I was coming from the supermarket one night, and you wouldn’t believe who I saw.
It was the creepy vampire guy Chad, who asked me out that time and I got so freaked out I called Stevan to come get me. I was stupid, yeah, to agree to go out with someone I didn’t even know, even when I was kinda seeing Stevan. Well, Stevan didn’t care of course… all he cared about was himself. But I didn’t want nuthin’ to do with that guy cause he’s a vampire and is probably just out for blood — my blood!
He was talking to Desmond Flake. Now this guy Des…. also a flake! I barely know him too, but I met him somewhere–I guess through his brother Sirus who Mom is friends with–and I gave him my number cause he said he would invite me to a party. He did text me and invite me to his party on a couple occasions, but he never showed up. I would go to his house and there would be no one there and all the lights off!! Pretty flakey, right? And creepy.
I think I walked in on something. They were having a staredown. Did I mention Des is a vampire too? And why was his shirt off?
My friend cop Derrick was there, but he wasn’t doing anything, he was just standing back. I hoped he had his gun. Wait… can vampires be killed with guns…?
Chad: “You know what I want, Desmond.”
Derrick: “Stay back, Jemma.”
Chad: “Yes, stay back, Jemma. You don’t want to get between us right now. It might not be pretty.”
Derrick: “Don’t you speak to her, Mr. Luck. She is an innocent bystander. I’m warning you.”
“What? I wasn’t doing anything, Officer! Jemma is a friend. Right, Jemma?”
“Do you know this guy, Jemma?”
Chad had been standing way over there, but all of a sudden there was a flash and a whooshy noise, and he was RIGHT THERE in my face. Oh. My. God.
“I… uhhhh… n-n-n…” I swear he was boring into my mind with his eyes.
“He is an acquaintance.” I said. He seemed pleased enough then whooshed off somewhere else. I was too scared to say anything more.
“It’s okay, Jemma. I’ll protect you. The vampires have been warned to not prey on the humans for their blood. They are required to get their plasma from the supermarket. But if we suspect in the slightest that their willpower is not strong enough to only drink plasma, they will most certainly be eliminated. We always keep a cop on guard here and a few other places around town.”
“I suggest in the meantime though, that you avoid all contact with these two characters.”
Des had disappeared by now, and Chad was on the other side of me stalking– I mean talking to Van Jonso.
Then Daddy and Aubrey came! Oh man, I was so glad to see them.
“Hi Dad! So good to see you!”
I know it was a public place but the creeps seemed to have left — I had to tell him about my pregnancy, because I was just coming to an acceptance with it myself and in my heart I knew that Phoenix would be a much better dad than you-know-who.
