I wouldn't say it is on full price. I don't have Sunlit Tides, but I just go Serenity Retreat on DD, and I think it was barely worth the simpoints at 950. The massage table is nice, but I'd much rather have bought it separately, even for 500 simpoints, if it had been possible.
So, I'd say, if you want to get Sunlit Tides while it's not on any sale, just get standard edition and wait till Serenity Retreat is on some kind of sale again. Perhaps this DD rotation is going to repeat the third time. But if there's a sale like there was with Lucky Palms, where you can actually get the gold edition for 1900 simpoints... Then it will be worth it
Edit: While Serenity Retreat is nice, it doesn't really have anything special. I might as well have added the massage table at some public pool or gym. From the store venues I also have the casino (got it with LP Gold on sale), the cinema and the greenhouse. From those ones, Serenity Retreat has the least things for sims to actually do in.
In my opinion, no. It's nice to have but nothing special. Some people love it though. Have a look on youtube and check it out for yourself, it will help
