Will the ResetSim cheat cancel achievements?

I have never used cheat codes because idk if it will like make it impossible to ever get achievements again. But now my sim randomly became invisible and i think the only solution is to use the resetSim cheat code... so does anyone know?

ResetSim will not cancel your achievements.

ok i just did it but it just moved my sim back to her home lot, she is still invisible. 🐸🐸🐸🐸, ill try using the backup save

try changing your sim's outfit at a dresser first.

Instead of going back to a previous save, if you have significant progress you will lose, go to edit town and move the sim/family to the clipboard then back into the house.

That cancels any open opportunities for the family, and if you have Sims who are at boarding school they'll end up coming home, but other than that it works. (If you have the NRaas Master Controller, you can also try Reset Lot.)
