Sims freeplay: can't build, says Studio being built but it already has been

Hi, I'm at the goal to make a sim a scientist. I went to the town map to build the Science Lab and it tells me I can't build it because the Studio is under construction.

I have already built the Studio.

I have since built a house and used 20LP to build the nightclub.

I don't know how to build the science lab... can anyone help?
