Installed content not in game

Hi everyone!

I apologize if this isn't Mac specific, I'll admit that I'm not the best with computers.
I play on a Mid 2009 Macbook Pro running OS X Lion. My problem is that anything I buy from the store does not show up in the game. When I try to install it is says that there are no packages to install but it lies haha. I've uninstalled and reinstalled in multiple times. Is there a trick to this that I'm missing?

Did you check your TS3 launcher download tab? If nothing then on the the sims 3 web page under the store tab, go to my store account and re-download your purchased items.
