Service Initialization Failed (0x0175d824)

PLEASE HELP! 
I got a brand new Dell Inspiron 17R for Christmas and loaded all my games on to it. The games ran perfectly, for about one day. Now, when I try to press the play button on the launcher the message Service Initialization Failed (0x0175d824) comes up every time.
I have tried absolutely everything to fix this right down to completely re installing.
This problem is crazy since my laptop is brand new and I have barely anything loaded on it, and no custom content at all.
My computer did update recently, but I don't see how that can cause this?
