Broken Telescopes?

Everytime my sim goes to use the telescope it glitches up and moves them a few feet away, without having them use the telescope.. It does that for all my sims. How can I fix it? I've tried buying a new telescope but the same thing happens each time.

I have the same problem. Tried buying a new telescope, moving my family to a new house, a new world... still not fixed.

Same here.. It really sucks, I was hoping it'd increase the chances of a meteor but because it's broken.. yea..
Anyone at all know how to fix this problem?

Install Seasons or install Master Controller and Overwatch to fix.

Eeyup, there's some alien code in the Telescope, and without Seasons, (Because Aliens are in Seasons), the game can't work properly. At least it's better then the game crashing.

That sucks. Well, all the more reason to get seasons I guess.
