Corner Counter Disappearing

ever since I downloaded the overachieving counter set I'm unable to place corner counter or cabinets without them disappearing. It's incredibly frustrating. I'm searched the web and found a lot of references to "decrapifying" as a solution. I'm looked up "decrapifying" but since I'm so technophobic that I can crash a computer just by looking at it I'm afraid to mess around with any files. HELP!!!
