Some people also have different tastes. Some say there is nothing wrong with TSR as it has never given them problems, and some won't have anything to do with them.
If you are going to download CC, I wouldn't go hog wild and have a party downloading everything all at once. Download a few, test it in game and see how it runs. If something glitches, you have less CC to go through than trying to figure out the needle in the haystack.
It's your responsibility to know what CC can do to your game by researching. This fabulous thread by Crinrict will definitely help.

Thank you for the laugh. I needed it.
I've said this before, but I've downloaded from TSR for a good while. Just be careful and have good judgement and you should be fine. =P
Dallas12128: Yer welcome. :>
One thing that might help with reducing the risk of going to TSR from what I've heard is using something to block ads.
Regardless of the site you choose, being careful and having good judgement is the best thing to do when downloading CC. It's wise to be careful and have good judgement even if you're using MTS for example. Just because TSR is a gray area site (some trust it, others don't), doesn't mean you should only exercise caution at the gray area sites.
Even reputable sites will sometimes have things slip through the cracks.
Keep recently downloaded CC apart from the stuff you've gotten in the past. If something goes wrong shortly after downloading some CC, there's a good chance it's the new CC causing the problem. If the new CC is already clumped together, it's easier to locate it rather than in the midst of a ton of CC.
also www.parsimonious.org is fantastic , I have used their stuff since Sims1 , never had a problem .. and they do update their stuff when needed.
