Well- which one are you?

I had a baby born to a vampire and fairy couple. Immediately exiting the hospital, the baby had the green glow around his portrait indicating he was a fairy. Then I saved and quit for the night.

Next I load up my save, I see he appears in my relationship panel with the pink glow around him, indicating he's a vampire. :shock: :?:

He's just aged up to a toddler, and indeed he very much looks like a fairy. In my portrait panel his eyes glow as if he were a vampire, and the glow around his photo in my relationship panel in still pink for a vampire.

As you can see in this picture- his eyes do not glow and he has fairy wings. So why the pink glow in my relationship bar and why do his eyes glow in the portrait panel if he is not a vampire? I have reset him, and Master Controller tells me he's a fairy.

I DO NOT use any hybrid mods- so IDK why this is happening but it's very annoying! :x Any help/advice appreciated!

In case it's noteworthy- I am fully patched, have all EP's/SP's, all my mods are updated for 1.42 and 99% of the mods I use are all NRaas anyway so I doubt they conflict.

Have you tried taking him in to CAS and changing him to human and then changing him back to a fairy? And maybe save him as a human and then go back into CAS and make him a fairy. Maybe that will reset his occult properly.

I changed him to a human hen back to fairy, bit didn't save. Maybe I will try that. Grrr...I am so used to not having bugs in my game that IDK what to do when it happens. :P TY for replying, will give it a go- catching up in the regular thread now.

i know what you mean, it will probably sort itself out just as randomly as it started!

I checked with MC and indeed, my tot did have BOTH the fairy AND vampire occult types! :shock:

How does this happen with no hybrid mod?

I took your advice VRStevenson, and changed him to human, saved, then edited him in CAS again to make him a fairy again and he's pure fae now. TY for suggesting it!

Well that's weird I once had daughter who was supposed to be a genie, but instead she acted exactly like a vampire. I didn't even realize it until she got a crazy for plazma as a child.
