I'm playing mine in Riverview, and I gotta say I kind of regret that choice. I had forgotten how weird the parks were set up there so all the festivals take place in the Cannery.
Which isn't bad but it ruins the whole outdoor aspect of the festivals.
I'm playing my game in Bridgeport. I love the look of the big cities in the fall and winter in real life so I thought it would look awesome in the Sims as well.
My Sims house is right by the water and the bridge too so she has an amazing view from her back yard of the city. I haven't uploaded any pictures yet since I can't access the internet on my desktop which makes me sad. I'm currently using my laptop and connected to the internet through my neighbors wi-fi.

I was thinking of Appaloosa Plains, Bridgeport or Sunlit Tides, but I cant decide. It doesnt get released until tomorrow here.

Here are some pics - there are a lot more on the Facebook page for My Sim Realty.
Hidden Springs is going to look fantastic in winter. In fact that's what I'm setting it as, mainly.
