I'm suprised that no one has posted this yet! While checking out my 'hourly' dose of SimsVip, i stumbled upon a new Venue!!!

However, feel free to share thoughts on this thread. I for one, already love it! I am actually considering to get it, since i don't have simpoints at all, (hoping for a reasonable price!)

Just seen this now it looks amazing, the new content sounds brilliant! The only thing I'm dubious over is the price :shock:

OK, it says there are four roof pieces, but I only spot three, straight, inside corner and outside corner. I wonder what the last is? A smaller or bigger straight?

Anyway, I wonder if it shields from the weather.

I know it's frustrating when it seems like something should have been included in the ep. It's worth bearing in mind, though, that the ep and store teams are seperate, so it's unlikely that a fully-developed set would be removed from the ep and sold in the store instead.
I'm not sure if I'll be getting Seasons, so personally I'm pretty happy that this is store content.

So many cool premium content and i can't buy any of it

i really wonnit a greenhouse for my games, knowing that i prob. will not be getting it now is kinda hurtfull >.<;

i am really really starting to hope that when sims 3 ends EA will ATLEAST do me the favor of releasing all the premium stuff on a disc for sale in stores around the globe atleast then i might be able to enjoy these things -.-;

So excited about this. and yes as someone said, The EP, SP and Store Teams are all different and each doing their own projects. So no, it just seems like it should have been in Seasons, and if seasons hadn't been released before this, when it did come out people would still whine and say it should have been in the game EVEN if the greenhouse had came out first. They fully concentrated on the Weather Effects in Season, that and the Much Requested Holidays, albeit, Politically Corrected so no one is offended. Besides what else could have went in Seasons, as most the stuff from Sims 2 Seasons has already been in the game from day one. I, for one am buying the set when next I can afford it.

I treat it as such:

- Gardening came with the base game, not seasons.

- Even if we didn't get Seasons, we would have probably gotten this too.

- Players who don't/can't obtain Seasons can enjoy this addition with or without weather and for aesthetics, which I think many players wanted greenhouses.

- Be glad it exists at all, there are plenty of content ideas and suggestions that have yet to make it into The Sims 3, and not everything can be added so I'm glad something like this is added one way or another.

- It will be a "rip-off" when they charge you for this content and the requirements to use it is Seasons. Then one could make a valid point that it shouldn't have been sold separately. 8)

Will my paycheck be empty in one day? Probably LOL

I'm very excited about this venue. I like the gardening aspect of the game, but not as much as my daughter. I showed the greenhouse to her, and I swear I could see little hearts floating above her head. We definitely will be getting it, and I doubt that for a while, I'll be able to play sims, as my kid will be on my computer.

If we're actually thinking about this logically *GASP* I know it's a really hard notion to sell on these forums! Then the greenhouse was in the conceptual stage at the time of SN. Why, you ask? Let's see, we have potters for indoor plants from SN AND this is obviously an extension of the PvZ deal with Popcap also from SN hence the PvZ sunflower.
