Never a full moon?

In my game there has not been a full moon in quite a while. I have got it set to the every six days is a full moon and I have not changed it or anything, or changed any of my settings for that matter. But for the last two ta three sim weeks there has yet to be a full moon. It just stays at waning crescent next full moon in four days. Or goes from six to one and skips completely over the full moon... What can I do to fix it? er.. could I fix it? :roll:
