    CAW wont work after new game patch

    I just downloaded the new patch for the sims 3 and now it says that CAW isn't compatable and I need to uninstall it and download the new CAW?? OK where would that be and how to I save my world I've been working on for a few months now because I am NOT starting over. Help please!!

      They have not updated the program yet. To keep a copy of the world that you made by going to your documents folder, then click on the folder on Electronic Arts folder, then on The Sims 3 Create A World Tool folder, then on UserToolData folder, then on Worlds folder then copy the save data for the world and then paste it to maybe like your desktop or a different folder on your computer. I hope this might help.

      Hi,

      I accidentally updated to 1.34 yesterday. I redownloaded/installed CAW -works for me. :)

      ok thanks I will try that hopfully it works, I was getting close to being done with my world and I want to play it :)
