James Whelan is a busy, busy man. Not only is he an in demand fashion model, but he's a successful entrepreneur as well. Dedicated to his wife and children he lives in a wonderful home in the suburbs, but when he's in the city he needs a place of his own for business. James needs a condo redesigned for entertaining clients, for his clients to stay when they are in town for business, and for himself to stay when he needs to be in the city. James has money to spend so don't hold back, just be certain to meet his style demands.
Your Assignment
Follow the guidelines of the client briefing above and showcase some spaces that might appeal to James for his new condo. Remember that we are not necessarily looking for the whole condo itself to be designed, just a showroom of your ideas so that James can select a designer. Hello Triple Take Designers! For this month's assignment we are going to inspire you to recreate,
in your own interpretation, your choice of a selection of autumn inspired interor designs.
The Assignment
Choose any three photos below as your inspiration. Your job is to attempt a recreation, but the goal
is not to match it exactly. Kailead wants to see your personalized touch and interpretation of the design you choose. There are three purposes to this assignment...
to be inspired by popular design but to showcase your own personal style touches
to push you to consider your photography techniques
to allow you to explore a variety of styles based on one theme (really this is because Kailead's
favourite time of year and colour palettes are Fall/Autumn and it only comes around once a year)

Yay! I like it when peeps actually post here. It's kind of weird that we have two threads for this magazine but this one is supposed to be a community thread. I need to get some more fun stuff going here... hmmmm. Too many projects and too little time.
Seasonal Greetings Ladies and Gents! Welcome back to another round of the SF advert challenge! This challenge is for our next issue of SF and it is geared towards -you guessed it- the wintry season ahead, with some holiday cheer sprinkled atop it all!
We are once again looking forward to the amazing talent that the community has to offer. We at SF magazine pride ourselves in using reader created works in the magazine.You can always find some competition going on for that purpose. We like to see the community being creative and taking part in helping to make our issues stand out!
Onto the challenge!
At SF Magazine, apart from fabulous editorials, we love to feature innovative and creative adverts! The aim of this challenge is to style, shoot and design an advert for the upcoming Issue of SF Magazine. The winning advert will be featured in Issue 18.
Here are your three themes to choose from for this challenge:
1. A Christmas themed ad: This is a very loose theme as you can do anything you like as long as it is depicting Christmas in all is holiday glory! (Ideas: Cars, house feature, family around the tree, xmas fashion, lingerie, santa claus, christmas tree, gifts..etc)
2. Hair Creator or Retexturer feature: We would like you to be creative with this ad! Think of it as advertising a salon, hairdresser/stylist, or if your doing a retexturer - a hair colorist. The key here is to be creative!
3. Male Jewellery: This is quite explanatory, we need want to see that silver and gold shining on your male models. Lets give the men a little love this issue and the women some ideas what to get their men this christmas. ;}
**Please remember to keep in mind the holidays and winter season.
