Odd Roofing/Flooring Things Going On

Hi,
So, I'm building something in edit town, and some odd things are happening having to do with the floors and roof. First thing I noticed was when I was putting flooring on a roof. After putting in a fence and messing with some other things, the roof goes back to the flat roof. instead of the flooring I used to cover it. After that, the walls and roof kept disappearing and reappearing for a second when changing levels. Now, I deleted one of the roof tiles on a multiple level building on top of the roof, and the entire roof changes below! I'm not sure what's going on...do any of you know? I thought someone might be able to help or give a suggestion.
I do have a screenshot of the roof changing...it's a before and after shot.
