Tutorial on How to Download Riverview

I hope this clears up most of the questions.

All right, this is very, very extensive. Please bear in mind that I already had the Sims 3 Game Launcher up and running from the start.

STEP 1: REGISTER, REDEEM.

Yeah. Go and register and stuff.

STEP 2: GO TO THE RIVERVIEW LINK.

If you lost it like I did, ask Kethlockheart. He's a great guy and he'll tell it to you for sure.

STEP 3: CLICK ON THE DOWNLOAD LINK

You should get something like this when you click on it (if the Sims 3 has been loading like a ***** for you)



STEP 4: CLICK "YES" ON THE BOX

Yeah. You should go do it. If you pressed no, what's the point? For more reference, here is the same picture I showed you just now.



STEP 5: SELECT THE APPLICATION "THE SIMS 3" TO OPEN THE FILE.

Once you click it, you should get something like this if you're a Mac user. If you're not, well, something similar. Anyway, just click on the Sims 3 application to open it on the box and you're good to go.



STEP 6: CLICK INSTALL ON THE GAME LAUNCHER

The game launcher should just pop up fine. Click the install button.



STEP 7: OH, WHAT'S THIS?

Another windows seems to have popped up. It's the game preloading screen without the silly marquee descriptors on the bottom. Just wait for it to load and by the time it's done, Riverview should be very ready.



STEP 8: HUH?

Wait, what? "Riverview.Sims3Pack: Failed. Done!" Is it mocking me?



STEP 9: MEH

Okay.. okay.. But.. where's the log?



STEP 10: I GIVE UP

This happens to me too. I am running Windows 7. I was able to install other downloads from the store. No message ever comes up to view the log, it just has the message with failed, done. thats it, then it shows not installed in the game launcher.

Downloading very much doesnt work on my windows 7 either
