New Patch = Messed Up Opportunities

I updated my game with the latest patch today and now my opportunities are messed up. They're either not allowing me to complete them (for example: I finished an opportunity, the Report on Progress popped up and then disappeared. Effort wasted) or they're not recognizing I've done the work at all (For example, I'm trying to do the master inventor opportunity, it was saying 1/0 Heart Cut Pink Diamonds and then suddenly changed to Return Home to Complete even though I hadn't found the item). This has happened with every opportunity I played today with 4 different family members. Reseting the sim doesn't seem to help - I basically have to hope I finish it quickly, right click it to remove the opp or just consider it a lost cause. Anyone else experiencing this?
