    EA account ballance cant transfer to simpoints?

    I have been trying to transfer my ea account balance to simpoints and the choice is not there anymore. Does anyone have any ideas how to do this!! Without having to go spend more money to get a card! I was trying to buy Lunar Lakes, that's why i was gonna transfer over to simpoints. Thank you for taking the time to read this and help me out please!

      Go to Origin, sign in using the same email and info you use here, and put the 2000 simpoint bundle in your cart. You will then be able to pay with the EA Card balance, and they will switch over within 10-15 minutes.

      Thank you for answering. i did try to add to shopping cart but it said i did not have enough simpoints to do that. Please correct me if I'm wrong

      i had this problem last week....i had to have them call me...using the help button....it was a mess....but yeh...they have taken out the button to use your EA balance for points...which means...those cards are now useless...

      and i don't have origin and will not have it unless forced

      Yeah, they took away the option to purchase simpoints using an EA balance through the sims website. Now, it can only be done through origin. Which means, of course, that you don't get any of the extras you would get purchasing from the sim store...mystery bags and credit towards the treasure hunt. How much of an account balance do you have? If it's less than $20, then you will need to purchase the 1000 point bundle through origin...if it's $20, then you can get the 2000 point bundle.

      Thank you again for the answers. I have 40.00 in my ea account balance. And I have no idea how to transfer them from the origin site.

      If you go to the origin website, you should be able to just search simpoints. It should pull up all the bundle sizes available. Just pick the one you want, add to cart, and checkout. Login with the same info you use for the sim store, and there should be an option to purchase with your balance...for me, it was automatically checked, since I had a balance. Takes a few minutes to show up here on your store account, but not long. Was about 5 minutes for me.
