    Dog appeared

    My Sim came home from work to find a small stuffed dog in her bedroom.

    Can anyone tell me where it came from please. I can change it's name, command it to guard or sell it for 1000 simoleans.

    Her two dogs were out of the house at the time hunting for gems etc.

      its the dog gnome it comes when you are bff with your dog, along with a horse gnome and freezer bunny, these are new gnomes in sims 3 pets.

      As secretuk1965 said, that is the dog gnome. It appears when a new dog is added to your household, or when you reach a certain number of dogs. You can't command the gnome to guard but rather command one of your current pets to guard it. They multiply quickly-so I usually just sell mine.
