Port Charlotte

It was a dark night in 1862. Lord Admiral Cecil Cecil-Featherington was in his Simdon home when terrible news reached him: his wife, Charlotte Cecil-Featherington, and the ship carrying her, the second best in his fleet, coincidentally also called Charlotte, had disappeared in the Pasimfic Ocean. With not a second of delay, he began preparing the best ship in his fleet (Cecil) and, six months later, started the long sail to her last known co-ordinates. They arrived nearly a year later.

Finding bizarre triangular anomalies in the water, where no current flowed and the water was blue as His Majesty's wash flannel, the mystery behind Charlotte's disppearance deepened (pun intended.) Lord Admiral Cecil Cecil-Featherington resolved to stay for a full two weeks to uncover the secrets this destructive sea held. Obviously, with no scientific equipment or scientists on board, he failed and, true to his word, sailed back home two weeks to the dot later. Lord Admiral Cecil Cecil-Featherington died in 1870, never discovering the mystery of his lost ship (and wife, of course.) However, he did use the Cecil-Featherington fortune to found a concrete base for resarch into these bizarre waters.

The Cecil-Featheringtons have next to no money these days, but their once vast fortune laid a strong foundation for Port Charlotte (as it came to be known.) To this day it thrives, inhabited by the descendents of the rightless sailors Lord Admiral Cecil Cecil-Featherington ordered there and the washed-up scientists who could find no worthy research. Some say the ghost of Lord Admiral Cecil Cecil-Featherington haunts Port Charlotte, waiting until the day the answer to his missing ship (and wife, of course) is known...

Here are some pictures of Port Charlotte; I will update them to show the progress being made in the different areas. Currently, the rabbit holes are on the appropriate lots and the military shell (rabbit holes go in the basements) has been built but not CASt-ed. Other lots have not yet been built, but are planned.

Port Charlotte is an island built on a tiny (256x256) map. It's currently a WIP, but the simplicity of its design means it will hopefully not be a long project. It will be base game only and custom content free. All base game rabbit holes are there, plus some lots (library, gym, park, pool); there is also a lot for a fire station (if you play with Ambitions.) There are 10 residential lots; 8 will be built on with varying bands of housing (starters included), 2 will remain empty for you to build on. All base game spawners will be present.
