my sims disappeared!! :o

I was just playing normally then the mom and dad dissappered! the kid is visible once i made him move but I can control actions on the parents I just cannot see them though! I saw some other people had the same problem back in '09.... is anyone else having this problem recently? Is there any solution? I had to start all over on another neighborhood that I spent like a year playing on a while ago so I don't wanna do the same thing again :shock:

Oh this happened to me after i installed generations...um i hate to say it but I think the only thing that worked for me was loading a previous save...have you tried moving the family out then back in/the resetSim cheat?
