did they ever fix the Free Vacation bug??

I haven't played my game in a few because I'm waiting to get Pets, but I don't remember seeing anything about them fixing the Free Vacation bug where the parents never come back. Also there was a bug where the teen would go to bed and get transported back into the middle of the room so they couldn't sleep. Anyone know if those got fixed? Thanks.
