Rules
1. Create sims based on your favorite cartoon (minimum of 2 characters, no maximum)
2. Make the Sims match their cartoon counterparts as closely as possible
3. Post at least (1) headshot of each sim and (1) groupshot
4. Minimum number of pics: 3
5. Maximum number of pics: 14
6. Include their traits and the reason they are in Sunset Vally (or wherever)
7. Only 2 people per cartoon, so reserve your cartoon early
8. CC can be used on clothing only! (I would prefer if you don't use any for downloading purposes)
9. Must include a link to the sim with your entry form (either as a family or individually. Individual sims will be easier for me to check for CC)
10. Cartoons for the sake of this contest will be considered Animated Series or Movies including traditional, computer animated, or stop motion. Please, no R rated or tv MA cartoons.

I had never heard of this cartoon before you entered it, so I enjoyed looking it up and trying to compare your entry to the actual cartoon. Most of what I found was in Russian, so that was no easy task! I love all the work you put into it. You were so through and you did a wonderful job.

I am so glad you went back and fixed it! The traits were so them (yes I do watch the show). I had to gig you on Fry (he was a red head), but the rest were pretty good. I can’t believe you did so well on Zoidberg without any CC! I’m sure Fry had a logical explanation for running around in his underwear, but I’m not sure I would want to know.

MY INTERNET IS DOWN! I apologize to my contestants, but my internet has been down for a week because of a broken device. I have been told that the new device will be here by Friday, but with the holidays, I'm not sure. All the local hotspots are down because of the holidays. Story:
Strawberry Shortcake, her friend, Apple Dumpling; and her cat, Custard, are on vacation in Hidden Springs! Strawberry has been invited to participate in a dessert contest, and she's decided to enter her perfect shortcake recipe. The three are renting a cabin for the week, and look forward to meeting many new friends!
The trio have just returned to the cabin with all the ingredients for Strawberry's berrylicious shortcake recipe. Suddenly a tall, skinny man jumps from behind the bushes cackling! "Oh no!" Cried Strawberry, "It's the peculiar purple pieman!"
"Of Porcupine Peak! Ya-ta-tata-tata-ta-ta-tatata-cha!" He sang as he did a jig. "I am here to win the dessert competition, you cannot hope to win!"
Custard hissed at the pieman, but Strawberry simply said, "I will do my berry berry best, but I didn't come here just to win! I came to make new friends!"
The pieman looked disgusted, then cackled loudly. "You'll see!" He called as he left and kicked over the garbage bin.
Strawberry shrugged and picked up Apple Dumpling so they could all go inside. Strawberry set to work right away mixing the batter for the shortcake. Soon they were ready to come out of the oven!
She inhaled deeply and said, "Don't these smell berry delicious, Custard? I'll just rest these here to let them cool."
Custard jumped down from the counter and walked to the door. "Mee-ow?"
"You're right, Custard! It is a berry beautiful day outside! Why don't we go enjoy some fresh air?" And so Strawberry, Custard, and Apple Dumpling went out into the yard.
But all was not well! The pieman had not left, he had simply hidden himself in more bushes, waiting for the time to make his move. He snuck into the cabin and stole Strawberry's shortcakes!
Finally it was time for Strawberry to gather her things to go to the park where the competition would be held. But her shortcakes were gone! "That mean ole pieman! He stole my shortcakes!" Strawberry started to cry in frustration. She couldn't even have a nice vacation without the pieman trying to ruin the day! Apple Dumpling tugged on Strawberry's leg and pointed at the door. Strawberry sniffled and dried her eyes. "Of course we'll still go, Apple Dumpling. I wouldn't miss it for anything!" And so Strawberry Shortcake put on a smile, and off she went with her friends to the dessert show.
The evening was wonderful, and Strawberry met a lot of new friends. The pieman entered a recipe for anchovy shortcakes (using Strawberry's shortcakes), and lost. At the end of the event Strawberry headed back to her cabin. Only to be ambushed by the pieman!
He blocked their path and leaned down to steal the lolly Apple Dumpling had been licking. "If I can't have a trophy, I'll have your lolly!"
Strawberry rushed to pick up the now crying Apple Dumpling, while Custard went on the attack!
"No, Custard! That kind of behavior is no better than the pieman's! You're a berry mean man, with a berry bad attitude. You've poisoned my strawberry patch, you've framed me for cheating, you've kidnapped my friends, and broken into my home more than once! Just leave me alone." With that Strawberry stormed off with her friend and cat in her arms.
She passed the police station on the way back to her cabin, and a lightbulb went off. There may not be police in Strawberryland, but there are police in Hidden Springs! Strawberry walked inside to file a police report against the pieman.

I've just made my sims(which took ages)and just found out that CC is only aloud on clothes!
That happened to me too, except it was that I realized I had cc skin defaults
I didn't save them either

I'm sorry you guys. I was going to make it a CC free competition, but I realized that some of the clothing would be hard to find, so I decided to allow it. It's more of a download lag thing than a CC thing as CC increases the size of the package I have to download. I am going to have to go to the local library to download all the sims and you have to realize that I am going to have to download dozens of these guys, so the bigger the package, the longer the download time.
Also, I wanted the contest to be fair to all. CC free makes CC users not want to enter and CC allowed makes CC free users not want to enter. I thought that it would be a good compromise. I will try to download some of yalls entries sometime this week so I can scan them with custard and get back to you before the end of the competition.
